Stilwell & Singleton LLP is a longstanding law firm in Kent with deep local roots. The lineage goes back to Stilwell & Harby, a firm practising in Dover since the 18th century, and Singleton Saunders Flood, another historic legal practice. These merged in 2015 to form Stilwell & Singleton. In 2018, the firm acquired the business and offices of Emmerson Brown & Brown, expanding its reach further into the South East. On 1 May 2019, the partnership was converted into a Limited Liability Partnership (“LLP”) under registration number OC422389; this change did not alter the staff or service structure but modernised the legal entity.
